Hola! I’m Divya Gulati and I would like to tell you all that I am loud, easy-going and lucky! Believe me I am. 😉

HOW DO YOU DO YOU?

The words that pop up in my head when I hear the word ‘happy,’ are peace, love and warmth! The three things that make me truly happy are good conversations, traveling, and yummy, home-cooked food!

My three favourite simple joys are evening walks with mom, video chats with bro, and reading a nail biting mystery!

GIVE THANKS

I’m really grateful for my amazing circle of family and friends. I’d like to thank my mom, Shurthi, and Chethana for being who they are, and supporting me through and through.

BEST ADVICE EVER

The best advice I ever got was to be patient and persistent, because if we do, we’ll eventually get what our hearts desire.

If I had only 10 years to live, I’d play outdoors all day, every day! Life is not worth the seriousness it throws at us with age!

Dear 15 year old self…don’t overthink!

Dear 60 year old self… you survived!

FINDING HOOGAH DURING COVID

The biggest takeaway from this pandemic is that I now understand what matters most in life, and what doesn’t. I’ve had so much time to focus on myself, and get more “ME” time! I indulge in all those long lost hobbies like reading more and more books, and trying my hand at cooking some “gourmet” dishes! 😛 And on the days when things get tough and I feel low, I listen to old, classic music!

One of the most important things I learnt over the last few months is staying calm. Ironically, it’s also the toughest thing for me during this lockdown. 😛 But yes, my only advice to everyone during these times is that you need to stay calm! It’ll all be okay.
