HISTORY OF THE DARK & STORMY COCKTAIL
The islands of Bermuda hold claim to inventing the Dark & Stormy. Even to this day, the cocktail is as good as the unofficial drink of the country, along with that of the larger boating community. The name on the other hand, is attributed to an old sailor who equated the drink’s colour to that of storm clouds. Since its invention in the 1800s, the drink has found a place in bars worldwide.Â

Well, you need a lot of ginger beer to offset the taste of rum, which would only be possible when you’re using a tall glass. Not to forget, the ice balances it all so well.
